Submission Guidelines for Authors
The journal invites original research-based articles/ essays on the themes indicated in the description of the scope of the Journal.
Submission of an article/ essay implies that the said article/essay has not be published previously on any other platform or is not under consideration in any other Journal.
Submission of the article/essay implies that the author(s) take full responsibility for the originality of the article/essay submitted and for the data, information and views expressed.
We follow the in-text citation format of Chicago Citations (in-text; Author: Date) and prefer endnotes as that maintains the flow of the text for readers. Author(s) is/are advised to name only those texts/ sources that have been cited in the article/essay in the list of references at the end of the document. The following details are mandatory while submitting an article/ essay:
- Subject of Email: Submission (Category: Research Article OR Research Essay OR Book Review Essay OR Letters)
- Full Name, Designation, Institutional Affiliation (if any), email address on a separate page at the beginning of the manuscript (MS Word).
- Abstract (100 – 150 words in Italics): At the beginning of the manuscript (MS Word). Manuscript in MS Word Format (Language: English (UK); Font: Times New Roman; Font Size: 12; Paragraph Spacing: 1.15; Paper Size; A4)
- Declarations: Kindly refer to the Publication and Ethical Policy details provided below.
Since there are many submissions and sufficient time needs to be given to peer reviewers, we may take up to six months to convey the acceptance/ suggested modifications/ accepted with modifications/ rejection of your submission. The decision of the Editor will be final.
Submissions can be made under the following categories:
- Research Articles: These are in-depth, inter-disciplinary submissions by the authors in their area of specialisation, work, and interest. The article manuscript, including tables, endnotes, references/ bibliography should range between 6000 to 8000 words.
- Research Essays: These are short analytical commentaries on contemporary developments and/ or on ongoing empirical research. The essay manuscript, including tables, endnotes, references/ bibliography should range between 3000 to 5000 words.
- Book Review Essays: These are essays published to review a book published in the recent times and are exclusively solicited by the Editor. On occasions we may accept unsolicited submissions.
- Letters: Readers are encouraged to comment and write their perspectives on the articles/ essays published in the Journal in the range between 300 to 500 words.
Review Policy:
The Journal is a blind peer-reviewed journal.
Submitted articles will be internally reviewed by the editorial board before sending them to a blind review by at least two subject/ domain experts. A final decision of publishing the article/ essay will be taken by the Editorial Board on the basis of suggestions of the reviewers. The decision of the Editorial Board will be final.

Plagiarism:
The Journal has a strict policy with reference to the originality of thought and content submitted for publication. The author(s) will have to state that the submitted article/ essay is his/her/their own work, and claim full ownership of the ideas and contents. The submitted, and accepted articles/ essays will be checked for plagiarism in Turnitin before publication.
